This year, the Connections Gala will shine a spotlight on the many meaningful ways individuals connect—through sign language, spoken word, and assistive technologies. At the heart of every connection is communication, and this event will honour its power to bring people together.

Proceeds from the evening will directly support programs and services for Deaf and hard-of-hearing Albertans, helping to ensure greater access, inclusion, and opportunity across the province.

Meet John Warren, our evening’s talent! After a long career in Deaf education and services, John is now retired but still teaches ASL, mentors kids, and coaches actors. For over 35 years, he’s brought laughter and creativity to the Deaf community through storytelling, comedy, and documentaries that celebrate Deaf culture.

We look forward to welcoming you to a night of connection and community in support of a vital cause.

ASL interpreting and CART captioning will be available at the event.

Refund Policy

Please note that all ticket sales for the Connections Gala are final. We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for any reason, including scheduling conflicts, illness, or other personal circumstances. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another guest by contacting us no later than 2 days before the event. Thank you for your understanding and support of our fundraising efforts.
