The boost override switch allows access to maximum amplification with every call if needed. Set this for all calls or adjust as you talk to each individual. 

Tone control allows for more clarity by adjusting the callers' voice frequency to increase or decrease the bass and treble, depending on hearing loss.

Above phone is excellent in every way, but only ONE THING IS MISSING & THAT IS: ANSWERING MACHINE. TO RECEIVE & RETREIVE MESSAGES.
Hearing problem is Seniors problem; They are not mobile and need time to reach the phone; they take longer time to do shopping (out of home); SHORTLY, they are missing 60 to 80 % of the phone calls, so that why need ANSWERING MACHINE Thanks.

I purchased the amplified phone for my mother who is 78 and hard of hearing , it works great !
She is hearing a noise in the background maybe the volume is too high but otherwise really nice phone

I purchased this for my Mother who is 95 and she finally can hear on the phone again. The red light that flashes when the phone rings is a great add on as she can see the call coming in. She could not hear with the regular phone. Great phone.

Fabulous!!!

The difference between the models purchased from regular medical supply places which are at 40 dcb to this product at 60 is amazing. Way better for people with hearing aids or for those who cannot wear a hearing aid. Would not hesitate to recommend it.
