Roger On V3 is a multipurpose microphone dedicated to all conversations where background noise is present, or you are at a distance from the person speaking.

This microphone automatically switches between three modes when used for in-person conversations - Presenter, Table, and Pointing and has Bluetooth for taking cell phone calls. The flexibility of the Roger On V3 microphone allows you to hold it in your hand, place it on a table, or have a speaker wear it around the neck, depending on your needs.  The Roger On microphone also connects to audio from your TV, laptop, or other audio devices.

For especially complex listening environments with multiple talkers, up to 10 Roger microphones can be used at the same time.  This is a great feature for workplace meetings, community group meetings, and a place of worship.

This device has a range of 25 meters or 82 feet from the speaker to your hearing aids. Great for a fitness class, a learning environment, a place of worship, or a noisy environment such as a restaurant.

Connect to media from your cellphone, tablet, TV, or computer by simply plugging into the audio outlet with a cable to stream the audio directly to your hearing aid device.

It is ideal for people who are part of challenging listening situations. Roger is compatible with almost any hearing aid and cochlear implant that has a direct audio input, whether from Phonak or an alternate brand.

The Roger On V3 can connect to an unlimited number of receivers. It can easily connect to most hearing devices.

Group Conversations - In small meetings or at family dinners, place the Roger On microphone on the table to pick up the voices from everyone around the table.

In social gatherings, when music is playing, and people are talking and laughing, the pointing mode makes it possible to zoom in on the person talking.

From a distance - In a larger auditorium, the speaker often stands at a distance. When presenters wear a Roger On, their speech is transmitted directly to you.

In large meetings - Use Roger On in presenter mode and ask the person presenting to wear the microphone. Together with one or more Roger Table microphones in a multi-talker network to hear all participants.

In the Classroom - Accommodate students so they can hear everything being taught. The instructor wears the Roger On microphone and transmits directly to the students' hearing devices and to a laptop for captioning and note-taking.  Group project collaborations can be heard by the hard-of-hearing student when the Roger On microphone is placed in the centre of the group or connected to the computer for online discussions.

According to published data, Roger provides 61% improvement of speech understanding and group conversations in loud noise compared to hearing aids alone, and Roger provides up to 62% more understanding of speech and noise over distance, compared to people without hearing loss.

Roger ON v3

Pro It does amplify remote sound, up to certain distance
Pro Pointing mode does minimize background noise
Con The sound equalization emphasizes higher pitch, difficult for my case.
Cannot hear when speakers drop their voice, which seems common.
Wish there is adjustable equalization.
Con Wish the amplification is adjustable.
SoSo The battery does not live up to the claim it lasts 8 hours.
More like 5 or 6.
MyRogers App - requires Location (GPS) to be turned on. My location is
none of Phonak's business! What are they trying to collect out of that?

Helps in a small group

This Roger mic helps in a small group but still can't noise cancel as well as a plain telephone headset or not quite as well as the small Phonak mic. I'm disappointed but it's still worth keeping for small groups in a quiter environment. Also, I can point it at someone such as a clerk or bank teller without them having to clip it on like my Phonak mic. Deaf and Hear Alberta gave great service and a good price.
